Who We Are
We
are Sisters in Spirit. Although we are diverse in geographical location, age, looks and occupation, we each share a
journey on the spiritual path.
Spirit Sisters is a cooperative venture of friends coming together to bring you our gifts to
assist you with your own healing and upliftment. We are inspired by the divine
that we encounter in our every day lives, and we believe that what we offer here will inspire you as well.
About Us
Donna
A native of Mississippi, Donna moved
to the Pacific Northwest at age two and a half. Raised in Washington State with no siblings or cousins,
she grew up seeing the world as her family. After high school she spent four years in the military. Part of those
four years were spent in Europe, and then she moved to the East Coast where she began her
studies in Therapeutic recreation. She transferred to Bellingham, WA
and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Science from Western
Washington University in Parks
and Recreation with a minor in Therapeutics. Time and travel brought her to places such as Hawaii,
Philippines, France,
Belgium, Scotland, and
Ireland as a missionary with Youth With A Mission for four years. Donna is married to her Coast Guardsman sweetheart, residing on Oahu,
which is one of the small islands of Hawaii. Recently,
she obtained her Masters in Theology in at Chaminade University,
Honolulu.
Jane
Jane
began knitting in high school. She has also been a practicing yogi and meditator
for several years. Seven years ago she began knitting socks. "I like the
warmth of wool socks, but couldn't find any pretty ones in the stores. I've discovered that not only can I create pretty
socks but the process of knitting them has become a working meditation for me. I'm able to infuse each stitch with positive
affirmation which you can feel when you put the socks on your feet." Jane works as a librarian and currently hosts a weekly
knitting circle at her local library.
Jen-Ann
Jen-Ann
is a lifelong artist. Her career has encompassed (to list just a few) graphic
artist, children’s book illustrator, scenery painter, and both portrait & landscape artist. Her intuitive gifts and unique way of viewing the inner and outer worlds around her make her art very special. “I want my art to inspire and inform, to bring hope and joy to others, and to
be a part of daily life. The peace and beauty of the natural world continue to
fuel my highest aspirations. It is my intention to bring this energy through
to the outer world, and to give a voice to that which cannot be spoken, only experienced.”
Kathleen
Kathleen
is a registered hypnotherapist. A few years go she began making jewelry and then expanded to make rosaries as a form of meditation. Working with primarily natural components, she believes that each natural stone carries
a specific heavenly vibration which enhances healing, meditation and prayer, especially when used in a rosary.
Linda
Linda
can’t remember when she actually began doing energy work; it has always been part of her life. In the early 1970’s
she began “communicating” with spirits and healing her own health issues. It wasn’t until 1990 that Linda
began formal training in metaphysical phenomenon & principles. In 1990 she received her Reiki I Certification leading
to the completion of her Reiki Master Teacher Certification in 2003. Upon completion of her Reiki Master Teacher Certification,
it was revealed that she had been using the symbols of a Reiki Master intuitively for years. Additionally, she was certified
in Spiritual-Psychic Development in 1993 at the MansBridge Institute in Alexandria,
Virginia. In the late 1990’s She began to incorporate toning and sound
in her sessions and realized that it addressed the client’s core issues. Linda
is dedicated to helping one connect with ones higher self, enabling healing, increasing self-awareness, spiritual growth and
personal empowerment. Recently, Linda facilitates different meditation groups in throughout Tucson, AZ. Her passion is singing/toning
and energy work.

like a life. When it is freed and allowed to resonate in its natural channel, beauty abounds.”-From Finding Your Voice
